Getting Started with CommPortal

Logging into CommPortal

  1. In your web browser, bring up the http://www.plateauwebservices.com website.
  2. From the home page, enter your number and password as shown below, then click Login as shown below.
    Note, if you have forgotten your password, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-432-2369 or
    389-5100.

  3. The Portal Dashboard page is displayed after login.

Accessing Voicemail on CommPortal

  1. If you have voice mail you will see something similar the following example:

  2. Click on the link and you’re taken to the Messages & Calls tab shown below: img04
  3. Click on the icon  icon to listen to your message, then screen below appears:

  4. You can replay, save, delete, or close your message.

Changing your CommPortal Password

Note: to change your CommPortal password, you must know the current password.  If you do not know your password, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-432-2369 or 389-5100.

  1. Click on the “Settings” tab and follow image below:

Accessing Voicemail Using a Phone

  1. Using a touch tone phone, dial the Voicemail access number: 575-935-0155.
  2. When prompted, enter your area code and CommPortal, followed by “#”
  3. Enter your PIN number, followed by “#”
  4. Press “1” to review your voicemail.
  5. After hearing message, press “2” to save
    • To Erase press “3”
    • To Reply press “4”
    • To Leave as new “#”
  6. When you are finished listening to messages, click “*” or hang up.

Recording your Voicemail Greeting Using a Phone

This must be done using a phone and cannot be completed at the online site.

  1. Using a touch tone phone, dial the Voicemail access number: 575-935-0155
  2. When prompted, enter your area code and phCommPortal, followed by “#”
  3. Enter your PIN number, followed by “#”
  4. Press 4 to change mailbox settings
  5. When “Greetings” is announced, press “0”
  6. Press “1” to change your standard greeting for all calls.
  7. By default, you currently use the system standard greeting:
    • “Subscriber 5759350130 can’t take your call now.  At the tone please record your message.  When you have finished your recording, hang up or press “#” for further options.”
    • If desired, you can leave this prerecorded message as your voicemail greeting.
  8. To replace your regular greeting press “1”
  9. Recording your greeting after the tone, when you have finished, press “#”
    • If it’s OK, press “#”
    • To change, press 0 and begin recording after the tone.
    • To exit voicemail, press “*”
  10. Greeting has been saved.
  11. Press “*” to exit or hang up.
